Meet Owen Gray

Owen has always enjoyed endurance events, not only as a way to manage the stress of being a partner at Novogradac & Company LLP (a public accounting firm) but also for personal discovery – What is he capable of?  
 
Owen was in a seemingly innocent cruiser bicycle accident 10 years ago. That innocent accident resulted in me now being the owner of a left shoulder prosthesis.  That accident along with several other incidents have shown Owen that there are no assurances in life and it can change in the blink of eye.
 
This led Owen to enter the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge in 2021 and as a solo entrant he successfully rowed the Atlantic Ocean in 70 days, 19 hors and 29 minutes.  Owen became hooked on the challenges rowing an ocean presents and participated in the World's Toughest Row Pacific in 2023; in which he successfully rowed from California to Hawaii as part of a pairs team in 45 days, 6 hours and 17 minutes.
