Paul Lore and Owen Gray have joined forces to form Arctic Vets.  In July 2025, Arctic Vets will independently row across the Arctic Ocean unsupported and non-stop from Tromsø, Norway to Longyearbyen, Svalbard.  Their row will be in support of K9s For Warriors and Penny's Flight.  As veterans themselves, Arctic Vets believe that no veteran should be on a waiting list for a service dog.  Likewise, we believe no child (or their family) should have to endure the difficulties of Neurofibromatosis (NF).

Paul and Owen met when they rowed across the Atlantic Ocean in the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge in 2021.  They were one of the four USA teams in the race.  Paul was on the four person team, Foar From Home, while Owen was a solo rower.  Paul and Owen reunited again in 2023 when they rowed the Mid-Pacific in the inaugural World's Toughest Row.  Paul was on the four person team, Team Ohana and Owen was on the pairs team, Aloha Kai.  They are excited to tackle their third ocean together.
